Fufu Powder: Plantain [35%], Potato, Cassava, Vegetable fibre, Emulsifier [E471] Acidity regulator [E450A], Antioxidant (E320], Preservative [E222]

Soup: Tomato, butter bean, onion, chilli, ginger, salt, maltodextrin, mixed spices, acidity regulator: citric acid, antioxidant: vitamin C.

How to Prepare the Soup (Serves 3 with one sachet)

• Cut meat [fish or chicken] to bite sizes Into a saucepan
• Add water just enough to cover base of saucepan
• Add one tablespoon full of Easy Soup onto meat and stir
• Cover with lid and cook for two minutes stirring in between
• Add rest of Easy Soup, then 1.5 litres of water and cook for 30 minutes
• Lower heat and simmer for further 20 minutes
• Serve with Sankofa Fufu

Hints & Tips: Vary water quantity to achieve desired texture; add more water for soft fufu and vice versa. Add all water at initial cooking stage to save cooking time.

How to Prepare Fufu (Single serving)

• Mix 125g of Sankofa Fufu powder in 350ml of water in a saucepen (approximately 1 part powder to 2 parts water)
• Cook whilst stirring continuously with a wooden ladle until fufu thickens, then knead to a smooth lump, about 4 minutes
• Tip fufu onto a wet plate or bowl and mould into a round or oval shape
• Serve with soup or stew
